My journey with trading card games started as a teenager when Magic: The Gathering was first released.

I was hooked from the start—spending hours studying my cards, building decks, and trading duplicates with friends. Over time, collecting and playing became much more than just a hobby.

Years later, I discovered Dragon Ball cards, a game that completely changed my perspective on TCGs. To me, Dragon Ball wasn’t just a manga or an anime—it was a universe filled with strategy and epic battles, brought to life through collectible cards.

Let’s just say that TCGs aren’t just a passion for me—they’re part of my life!

L’Univers de la Carte – From a Local Shop to a National TCG Marketplace

In 2020, after years of playing, collecting, and advising other players, I decided to take a leap of faith.

I opened my own collectible card store, and L’Univers de la Carte was born!

It quickly became a go-to place for TCG players in Quebec, where people could buy and sell trading cards, exchange rare finds, and discuss strategy over a friendly match.

But then, the pandemic hit. Like many small businesses, my store faced serious challenges. However, if there’s one thing trading card games have taught me, it’s that you must always adapt your strategy.

Instead of giving up, I evolved L’Univers de la Carte into an online TCG marketplace. Today, I ship cards all over Canada, offering fast delivery and a personalized service to collectors and competitive players alike.

But this isn’t the end of the journey. One day, a physical store will reopen north of Montreal!
